WILL BE UPDATED AS MORE ILLUSTRATIONS ARE ADDED.
For any followers who actually read these things...
THANK YOU. Thank you so much to everyone who's faved any of the illustrations for E Tenebrae Et Lux The ones Shalizeh produced so many years ago before her debut as a Bioware superstar, the comics, the illustrations... And an even bigger thank you to those who went over to the original artists pages and faved/commented. They have all been amazing people to work with, and I've been blessed to have found them.
And continue to find them, as there are even more illustrations in the works, by a few new amazing artists, and a few old faves.
That said, I wanted to make a comprehensive list for anyone interested in commenting on or commissioning these artists! Most are still taking commissions, I believe, though some do have wait lists. If you don't want to ask the artist, let me know, as I can probably tell you off the top of my head.
AnnaHelme - Russian female artist who finds joy in bringing peoples visions to life. Her style is both realistic and beautiful, and the time it takes for her to craft her one of a kind creations pays off in the sheer amazement at the result!
AlexDLicht - Russian artist with a singular dedication to her work despite personal hurdles, who has a skill for sweeping uses of color and gorgeous line work, giving each piece an individual feel. She has done a massive amount of work on her personal OC's for various series, and it's worth checking out if you haven't seen it.
The second piece here is a gift she drew for us!
diamontribe - Artist from the Philippines who travels to different art shows, who specializes in cel-shading style art.
LadyTheirin - Russian female artist with a passion for Dragon Age and Mass Effect who's ability to portray so much within a facial expression always leaves me in awe, as well as her eye for color the effects she applies afterwards: the aged look of parchment, the sharp appearance of a photograph... just perfection.
NemoNova - Canadian male artist with a plethora of styles (and a wife with her own amazing skills and Mass Effect obsession). This piece was an actual traditional art piece that is now hanging on my wall.
PalomaGouthier - Female artist from Canada who loves K-Pop artists, and just opened her own website to sell her amazing creations.
R-Aters - Female Russian artists to specializes in beautifully detailed tarot card representations (as well as illustrations and fanart) from many different fandoms, including Dragon Age and Mass Effect. Her style is detailed and evocative, using small details of the character or lighting effects to set the mood of the picture.
Shalizeh - I've had the privilege of watching the female Ukrainian artist evolve and develop over the last five years, and have yet to see her draw anything that isn't absolutely gorgeous. She is also an amazing person who was an inspiration to myself and my co-author on more than one occasion.
Shaya Fury - Awesome and beautiful female artist from Bulgaria who is going to be doing another piece for me soon. She has a collection of neon Mass Effect characters that has gained popularity recently. She mostly specializes in watercolor, is bridging into digital art as well, and is the sweetest person you'll ever meet.
squarerootofdestiny - Where to begin? Awesome US artist with an incredibly professional demeanor. Will take pretty much any commission, including NSFW stuff and comics. Amazing talent for drawing everything from action to aliens, including other fandoms like Predator. Never fails to amaze me with her ability to capture the exact nuances of what you request.
So there you have it, the collection of art and artists so far, and their beautiful work. Please feel free to check them out, and message me if you have any questions about my experiences working with them.
Also-
Yes, E Tenebrae et Lux is still active, and will definitely be updated as soon as final edits can be done. My awesome co-author Lunamax1214 has been super busy the last few years, and no way I'm not getting her awesomeness added (trust me, it's worth the wait!). However, as of right now there are a total of 32 chapters planned, and for anyone who's notices there are illustrations being done for most of the upcoming ones as little teasers.

So Many New Things To Say
It's been a really long time.
Like, really REALLY long time.
And most of why I'm back over here is to follow along with several artists I've grown to love. I'm also back out of the darkness of depression and writing again, though I can't attest to the quality.
For anyone still out there, though... you guys are awesome. And also? Can't wait for Andromeda! :D
To Returns and All That Jazz
So... I've been gone a while. I good while, as I dealt with some rather fun everyday things. I won't go into details, other than to say that I've missed all of you immensely, and appreciate all the comments and complements that you've sent my way. I AM writing again, though whether or not I produce anything post-worthy remains to be seen. In the meanwhile, I only have one (quite serious) question...
Is everyone still interested in the continuation and completion of Tenebrea?
Stretching Your Legs
So I have a question for all you artists out there, being it writers, readers, or masters of visual arts?
Do you ever find yourself approaching a new idea/image/project, knowing it is something you've never done before (and that it is out of your defined skill set), only to find that you're not as horrible as you thought? Maybe not perfect, but not the bumbling idiot you believed yourself to be?
Yes, I'm talking about my coauthor's and my latest chapter. It was an adventure to write, to say the least. But a long time coming, I believe. As one critic put it prior to posting, when I asked if the actions of the characters in the latest ad
New Beginnings
Ah, so the new year has begun, has it? And how many of you are still writing 2010 on everything? Show of hands?
Yeah, me too.
I know that last year was a wild ride, and here's to hoping this year is no different. Seven stories, hundreds of reviews, and over 250,000 words later, and you all are still sticking around to see what's coming next.
That makes you all the most awesome people around, in my book!
I'm hoping to get a joint account set up for Lunamax and myself, so we can post the Teandraverse stories over here. Yeah, I know, it's really not fair to everyone who's been over there since the beginning, but hey? What can I say. Pe
